Yet another "birds-eye view" of our model, this time looking at it from the Northeast. What its all about is "Character"....

The prototype is buried in sand and dirt on this side up to about the bottom of that crosswise plank you see in this photo. The "rusty" looking rectangular piece atop the plank is sheet metal on the prototype. And of course, we've included material for that with the kit too.

Atop the sand tower itself, looking at the platform behind the hopper you'll see a "V" notched board which they used to prop up the pipe. This wasn't always there, showing up in some photos, but not in others. A cool touch, eh?

And regarding that "black mastic" patch you see on the roof; Click the other NE view in the photo below. We've include a closeup of this on that page. Neat stuff!
