The Espee's Narrow Gauge "Type III" Boxcar ! !

The model shown above is painted in what's referred to as "Espee Sunburn Red"; a color these old cars faded to after years of service in the high country sun of the Owens Valley.

We now have 25 - All Injection Molded Painstakingly Researched, Prototypically Correct Rolling Stock Kits, with more still to come !

Each has been Painstakingly Scaled from the Prototype, including the proper, accurately scaled trucks which feature our superb rolling pointed axle'd nickel plated brass wheelsets!

Magazine reviewers have noted that we have the most complete assembly instructions in the business! The latest iterations of which even have CAD plus 3-D generated illustrations! Wonder of wonders, these kits are actually buildable, and you don't need a masters degree to complete one either!

PBL-R4		- The D&RGW "6700" class "Idler" Flat Car. - These cars were made by cutting down "3000" Series Boxcars and were used in "Pipe Train" service. Includes real weathered rail for stiffening, just like the prototype! Injection Molded w/Nickel Plated Brass Wheelsets and Genuine Kadee ® Couplers!
PBL-R5		- The D&RGW "1050" class "Hi-Side" Gondola Car - "The Grande" had more gondolas ( or "gons" ) than any other class of revenue car. And that ours does justice to this intricacies of the prototype is no exaggeration. Injection molded w/nickel plated brass wheelsets and the genuine article, real Kadee ® Couplers!
PBL-R6		- The D&RGW's "Long" Caboose - This model is scaled down so amazingly that it even has a Complete Interior with every board, even every hinge present and accounted for ! PBL-R8		- The D&RGW "6500" Series "Bulkhead" Flat Car. - Some of the "6500's" got bulkheads, as you can see. Our kits are injection molded in high impact plastic so they go together "as advertised". PBL-R19		- The D&RGW "Long" Refrigerator Car. - No, the picture didn't get "stretched" somehow. The 'Grande really did have such things as these 40'-0" wonders! Probably because, what with the "ice bunkers" taking up gobs of space, the "short" reefers just didn't have quite the capacity. All injection molded and sitting on the special "Andrews" Type trucks of the prototype with our great rolling brass wheelsets, and Kadee ® couplers.
PBL-R30		- The S.P. "Type I Boxcar - This car is number 1 in a series of no less than four of its "type" we're going to produce. PBL-R40		- The R.G.S. Steel Underframe'd Box Car - Representing RGS road numbers 8801-8729, the "Miller Era" cars. Type III cars boasted very modern all-steel underframes and cast steel Bettendorf trucks. These Type III cars were comparable to the best built standard gauge cars of the day. PBL-R42		- The R.G.S. Steel Underframe'd Reefer - The R.G.S. "inherited" three of these cars in when Victor Miller took over the railroad in 1938, after the C.& S. went under. These cars were unique in that, instead of truss-rods and turnbuckles, they had very "modern" all steel underframes! PBL-R43		- R.G.S. "Type III" Steel Underframe'd Stock Car - These cars represent Numbers 7451 - 7474 which saw use all over the D&RGW / R.G.S. system. PBL-R50		- The C.& S.
