It's been a while since we've been able to coax our pal Jimmy Booth back into his spray booth, but the arrival of a small production run of models the likes of which we haven't had around these parts since 'way back in 1986 was enough to tip the scales... (Yes, my friend, it's been THAT long! ) That was back when painted brass models were a novelty, and the concept of putting SOUND in production models was still yet to be realised, ( A concept which we pioneered, by the way! ) and DCC was but a dream! And so, yes, the arrival of these #453's was absolutely enough to get our friend motivated, as you can see from the photo above... And yes, you too can have one like it too, if you act fast...
