This scene is looking at the Bulk Oil Dealer's place at the south end of
Placerville. The main line runs behind the buildings here.
That's one of the CONOCO Tank Cars that Samhongsa built for us back in the eighties there in the foreground, memory serves me right. At this point the layout is scarcely 18 inches deep, aptly demonstrating just how much modeling can be crammed into a small space ! |
